No Scrubs AI is the AI dance video trend built on the chorus routine of the "No Scrubs" music video, where people put themselves, their friends, streamers or game characters in the middle of the chrome set, with two dancers beside them. On TikTok the same videos go by the No Scrubs AI dance, the No Scrubs AI dance trend or No Scrubs music video AI.
Every video runs 15 seconds through five key shots. You see the pose at the chrome TLC letters, the strut down the chrome corridor, the finger-wag moment facing the camera, the low-angle shot of the row of three, and the overhead shot with both arms pressed on the walls.
The dance comes from the 1999 song "No Scrubs" by TLC, the lead single from their album FanMail. The song held the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and took home two Grammy Awards. Director Hype Williams set the music video in a futuristic space station with the dance in front of the TLC letters, winning Best Group Video at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards.
The trend exploded on TikTok in October 2026. Account @warped.ai posted the first AI versions with streamers on October 17, 2026. Account @herokobaa posted a Rainbow Six Siege version with the game's operators on October 20, 2026, passing 1.4 million plays. A one-photo CapCut template appeared on October 22, 2026, and logged more than 5,500 uses within a day.

The dance comes from the chorus routine of TLC's 1999 "No Scrubs" music video, directed by Hype Williams. That video is set in a futuristic space station with a dance in front of the giant TLC letters, and it won Best Group Video at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. The AI versions remake that routine shot by shot with new dancers in the middle.
